Entries are capped at 30 visitors plus five from the home club.

Entries cost £220 (a reduced rate of £175 is available for Cotswold Gliding Club members and £100 for Juniors who are under the age of 26 on 31/12/2025). A £50 deposit is required to secure your place. Details of how to transfer the funds are on the entry form.
Winch and aerotow launches will be available. In order to ensure sufficient launching capacity it will assist us if you would let us know your launch preference and similarly your accommodation plans. There are tick boxes on the entry form for you to provide this information.
FLARM is strongly recommended.
If you have little or no previous competition experience and have yet to achieve your FAI Gold Distance (300km) you may be eligible for the Novice Award to assist with entry costs. For more information and how to apply please refer to our Novice Award page.
All competitors will be asked to sign a pilot declaration at the first briefing. It is provided here for information only, you do not need to do anything with it until you arrive at Aston Down.
