For many years, Competition Enterprise offered awards to juniors whose 26th birthday fell after the end of the current year's competition, to help with the costs involved.
In view of the changing demographics of gliding, the scope of the award has been extended to consider applications from pilots who, at the date of entry, have had either little or no previous competition experience or have not yet been awarded an FAI Gold Distance (300km) by the BGA.
